I was watching Bull Durham one day recently and Crash said that once in while he just needed to “howl at the moon”.  That is the way I feel.  The weather this winter has me feeling listless and hibernatingish (yes that is a real word).  I have had to take several “stop and breathe” beaks just to avoid going completely off the tracks.

HOWLING:

I hate (really hate) cold weather and ice.  I hate it that I can’t ride my motorcycle.  I hate it that people can’t come look at our house and buy it so we can move to Florida.  I hate having to wear lined pants just to walk the 100 feet from my car to work.  I hate it that the best time to look at the moon and the stars is when it is 5 degrees outside.  However, I do like it when our prissy dog won’t do his business cause it’s too cold outside and he wants to come back inside.  He just turns around in a little circle and stands at the door waiting to be let back in.

BREATHING better

I feel some better now, hope anyone reading this does too.

  6. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My site
    has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but
    it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization.
    Do you know any methods to help protect against content
    from being ripped off? I’d really appreciate it.

    1. I haven’t seen anything YET, but unfortunately, our only recourse as authors is to place a copyright notice on the web page and send out takedown notices when you find your creations on someone else’s page. The copyright laws put all the onus of enforcement on the copyright holder. For some reason people think that because something is on the Internet that it is fair game to copy and use without permission. Best of luck.

    and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam remarks?
    If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can suggest?
    I get so much lately it’s driving me insane so any support is very much appreciated.

    1. I do get about 30 or so spam messages a day. WordPress has a built in spam filter, so I feel like that is catching a lot of it before it gets to my spam folder to look at.
